This guide is designed to help students and researchers looking for a place to start learning about the arts of Asia.  The sections in this guide include:

Background Information:  A combination of websites, books, and reference sources that could provide ground information on the culture or art of the region in question.

Articles: Databases in which the user can find articles; this includes both art history specific databases and general humanities databases.

Religion, Mythology, and Symbolism: An extension of the "Background Information" section, this tab contains a selection of resources that provide information on the religion and symbolism of China and Japan.

Images: A selection of databases and websites offering images of art.
