Voting: Preparing to Vote

Many students have temporary addresses in Alfred and permanent addresses in their home states. You can choose to vote in either location, and this is personal choice. Some things to consider when choosing your voting location:

• Which local elections do you want to influence?
• Where will your vote count the most in national elections?
• Do you have time to register to vote at home, or do time constraints mean that it will be easier to vote in Alfred?

2. You will receive a postcard in the mail with your polling place information.

3. Check Vote411.org to confirm your polling place.
